Personal Life:

Jack D. Lees (Born John David Leisenring; June 30th 1988) is a stand-up comedian.  He was born and raised in Granby, Connecticut and is the youngest of 4 children.  After almost joining the Navy, Jack attended Manchester Community College.  He enrolled in a public speaking course, and it was that class that rekindled the flame of becoming a stand-up comedian.  After just three semesters, Jack dropped out of school to pursue a carrier in comedy.  His comedy is made up of mostly one-liners.  Evolving from jokes with innocent, situations into very real and very dark human behavior and experiences.

Nonprofessional Carrier:

Jack's first work of comedy was in first grade.  He made a compilation of short stories based on the lives of the three bears from the children's book "Goldie Locks and the Three Bears".  The premise of the stories were simple.  The bears go on a small adventure and it ends with their demise.  With simple slapstick and dark humor those stories were a look into the early comedy mind of Jack
Lees.

Stand-Up Carrier:

Jack has been doing stand-up since January of 2011.  He is still very new to the profession.  However, in that time Jack has performed in six festivals and 2 comedy contests.  He has performed in the esteemed comedy clubs Caroline's and The Ice House.  Jack currently lives in Connecticut and performs in the surrounding areas.  Within four years he plans to move to or around New York City.  Living solely off his comedy with an income that is conformable.
